Various bits of information on the site which were out of date for a couple of months have been updated.
All transmitters have been added to the map.
Tuning data files for Linux have also been updated to the latest transmitter and channel listings.
A "MAX ERP kW" column has been added to the Irish Digital Terrestrial Television allocated multiplexes table.
Two games in proper HD this weekend 22-05-11
The Magners League Final between Munster and Leinster and the Munster Hurling Championship Quarter Final between Cork and Tipperary will be broadcast in proper HD this weekend. Up until now RTÉ Two HD has only had upscaled content. This is the first time RTÉ Two will broadcast actual HD content.
Official SAORVIEW launch 26th May 22-05-11
The Minister for Communications, energy and natural resources Pat Rabitte will officially launch SAORVIEW on Thursday 26th May.
RTÉ Two now in HD 04-12-10
RTÉ Two has begun broadcasting at HD resolution. So far only upscaled content is available. See more about the video quality of RTÉ Two in HD here.
3e now available on SAORVIEW 17-11-10
TV3's 3e has been added to the SAORVIEW channel lineup. It's the first time this channel has been available free to air.
TV3 arrives on SAORVIEW 03-11-10
TV3 has been added to the SAORVIEW trial service after a "procedural issue" prevented it being present on launch day.
SAORVIEW trial service launched 29-10-10
The SAORVIEW trial service was launched on the 29th October 2010. The official website can be found at http://saorview.ie/.
RTÉ One, RTÉ Two, TV3, TG4 and RTÉ News Now are supposed to be broadcasting as trial services by this date, but TV3 is absent.
